• Identify customer needs and build tailored data engineering solutions • Lead the design, strategic direction, and implementation of data architectures on customer projects • Communicate complex ideas simply to diverse audiences • Navigate ambiguity between current and future states • Advise Concurrency leadership on technical directions to expand D&AI market share • Mentor team members and promote high standards in data engineering and system design • Publish thought leadership content to attract and educate target customers through GitHub, LinkedIn, blogs, or YouTube • Lead requirements gathering workshops with technical and non-technical customers • Confidently lead any stage of the data software development lifecycle • Challenge the status quo to propose improvements • Embrace challenges and demonstrate resilience in the face of failure

Requirements

• Languages: Python 3.8+, SQL, PySpark • Cloud/Azure: Data Management Landing Zones, Data Landing Zones, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL DB, Azure Cosmos DB • System Design: Apply Domain-Driven Design for optimal Azure architecture topologies, Enable data product interoperability using Common Data Model or industry data models • Data Strategy: Craft enterprise data strategies that balance trade-offs, organizational structure, tech maturity, and strategic objectives • DevOps & Orchestration: CI/CD in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), automation (Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps) • Data Warehousing & Modeling: Design scalable data warehouses and manage complex data pipelines • Governance: Implement data contracts, MDM, data catalog, lineage, and metadata management • Security: IAM, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Key Vault, Encryption, Data Loss Prevention • Tools: GitHub, PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates
