📋 Description
• We are looking for a payroll rockstar! • The candidate must be PCP certified. • The role requires the candidate to manage multiple clients simultaneously in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. • You’ll be using online payroll software and apps and working closely with our clients to ensure that their payroll is delivered seamlessly. • It is imperative that the following duties are handled diligently: Running payroll in a timely manner, making changes to payroll (adding/removing employees, adding/removing deductions, etc.), handling the T4 process, and submitting ROE forms, amongst other payroll duties • Answering inquiries from clients related to payroll and payable matters, providing recommendations and problem-solving; analyzing data • Processing end-to-end payroll for multiple clients with different pay frequencies • EHT, WCB filings for multiple provinces • Reviewing CRA accounts and responding to notices • Correspondence with clients and the bookkeeping team to ensure timely service and a hands-off experience
🎯 Requirements
• PCP certified • At least three years of payroll experience in a fast-paced environment for a company or companies with multiple employees • Intimate understanding of the Canadian payroll process, including but not limited to withholding taxes, source deductions, other deductions, benefits, ROE forms, T4 slips, and more • Experience processing payroll in multiple provinces (QC an asset) • You have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) • Hyper-organized • Social, presentable, and well-spoken - we want our clients to love you! • You are independent, highly motivated, and a self-starter • You are a multi-tasker and can manage multiple clients simultaneously • Strong work ethic • Tech-savvy • A love for technology and the ability to learn new software/apps quickly • Strong internet connection - at least 6MBPS upload and 6MBPS download speeds • Knowledge of Wagepoint Payroll Software, Xero Accounting Software, Receipt Bank, and Hubdoc is an asset (not a requirement)
