• Acknowledge and respond to direct emails from attorney • Ask for and be proactive in scheduling weekly case status meeting with each attorney • Understand in prioritizing workflow, in a way other attorneys understand urgency and priority of other tasks • Calendar all due dates as documents are received – setting reminders and follow ups with appropriate attorney 1, 3, and 10 days in advance • Review attorneys’ files to appropriate matter in CLIO and enter time • Update pleading files for existing litigation matters • All emails related to ANY client matter or potential client need to be saved to CLIO • When Orders come in on a case, confirm appropriate attorneys received it and forward to client
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a legal setting. • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant. • Proficiency in using Clio Practice Management Software. • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. • Proficient in legal research techniques and using legal databases. • Discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information. • Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving • Experience supporting C-level executives or senior management. • Familiarity with project management software and tools.
