• Reporting to Sustainability and Community Manager • Lead Advisor - Community Relations role focused on Hydro operations • Engage with local South Island communities • Manage strategic relationships with stakeholders • Tailor engagement approaches for different audiences • Evolve into a social impact role over time • Mix of proactive community projects and bigger consent processes

Requirements

• 7-10+ years experience in community relations • Knowledge of communication methodologies • Experience with engagement expertise • Understanding of local context and relationships • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in social science, commerce, or related discipline • Training/qualification in IAP2 • Experience in RMA and development approvals • Strong knowledge of communication principles and project management
