Description

• As a Ping Identity Staff SRE, you will be involved in every facet of our On-Demand SaaS services. • You’ll build, deploy, and maintain the infrastructure of one of the largest identity platforms in the world. • You’ll be the expert on operational excellence and how systems can be built to be redundant, scalable, and observable. • Serve as a technical lead on projects with a cloud first mindset. • Design infrastructure solutions for the future. • Collaborate as a member of our operational review board. • Mentor team members. • Automate everything, remove human intervention. • Build via code and maintain our production infrastructure hosted on AWS. • Design and build pipelines to scale, deploy and manage global infrastructure. • Analyze complex system behavior, performance and application issues. • Capacity analysis and planning, traffic routing, and security policies for Ping's market leading Single Sign-On SaaS applications.

Requirements

• 7+ years Amazon Web Services (AWS). • Experience provisioning large cloud environments using IAC tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform. • Experience with CI/CD automation tooling such as Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD etc. • Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and microservice architectures • Solid experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet/Chef/Salt. • Building pipelines using GitOps methodologies, ChatOps, etc.… • Experience with observability tooling such as NewRelic, Grafana, and Cloudwatch. • 7+ years experience with Linux/UNIX systems administration. • Experience with security design principles and implementing them in the automation workflows. • Solid coding/scripting skills (Python/Ruby/Go/Bash). • Networking experience in large cloud environments • Experience in a high-volume or critical production service environment.
