📋 Description

• This is a remote position. • We have an opportunity for a Billing Specialist who will play a crucial role in shaping and optimizing our finance processes to support our rapid growth. • The ideal candidate will thrive in a startup environment, exhibit strong problem-solving skills, and have a passion for building scalable and efficient financial processes. • On any given day as a Billing Specialist you’ll be involved in: Preparing and analyzing AR reports, including aging reports, forecasts, and cash flow projections. • Ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. • Billing Management: Oversee day-to-day AR operations, including invoicing, collections, cash applications, and AR reporting to management. • Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and receipts. • Monitor AR aging reports and collaborate with our account management team to implement strategies to keep clients within payment terms. • Process Improvement: Design and implement scalable AR processes to support the company’s rapid growth. • Continuously assess and refine AR workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy. • Collaborate with other business stakeholders to develop or refine AR workflows and processes. • Customer Relations: Maintain strong relationships with customers to provide better systems-integrated payment solutions. • Automate client report generation, including self-serve access. • Facilitate prompt payment and resolution of any billing issues. • Handle escalated customer inquiries and disputes professionally and promptly. • Collaborate with sales and account management teams to resolve customer concerns. • Success in this role looks like: Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. • Timely and accurate billing to our customers. • Ensuring we meet our KPIs such as DSO and error-free invoices. • Successful coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure customer inquiries are resolved within our SLAs. • Identify areas of efficiency and improvement for the team to automate and scale overall solutions. • Partnership with cross-functional stakeholders to implement those solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Minimum of 4 years of experience in billing management • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting • Proficiency in Google Suite, and Excel • Excellent communication skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment • Written, spoken, and aural fluency in English
