• Cority is the global enterprise EHS software provider creating industry-leading technology to empower those who transform the way the world works. • The Senior Systems Administrator administers and maintains critical business systems including VMWare, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SFTP, SMTP, VPNs, Firewalls, Load Balancers, IIS, and related technologies. • They will help ensure the smooth operation of our production environments, contribute to our continuing improvement, and assist in architecting the services that support the enterprise. • The candidate is expected to be a skilled IT professional and possess excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in design, implementation, configuration, and support of production Windows workloads • In-depth knowledge of the Windows server operating system, including internet-facing IIS workloads • Expert understanding of VMware ESX • Expert understanding of TCP/IP networking • In-depth understanding of Observability (Metrics, Logs and Traces) using APM tools like ELK, New Relic, or Datadog • In-depth understanding of application scalability, performance and reliability • Experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS • Experience with Linux • Experience with containerized applications • Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve server related issues. • Excellent written and verbal communications skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Must have an ability to work independently as well on a team • Must possess strong time management skills and attention to detail in documentation. • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience required. • VMWare, Azure and AWS certifications are highly desirable but not required • Note: Incumbent will work regular business hours, but may require evenings and weekends to complete projects, monitor system/network alerts or perform maintenance on systems.
