• Set up and manage memoQ Project Templates, Plunet workflow templates, and other localization platforms (e.g., Translation Proxy, Website Translation Platform) to automate processes. • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Localization Engineering concepts, including file types, preparation filters, project scope assessment, translation memories, QA settings, regex, and CAT tool analysis. • Work with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Azure DevOps) to manage and resolve assigned tickets per defined processes and SLAs. • Interface with customers, project managers, and sales teams to understand client requirements and propose creative solutions. • Analyze project scope and suggest approaches to optimize workflows, reduce costs, and improve quality and efficiency. • Prepare project deliverables (e.g., documents, websites, software) for translation, ensuring adherence to quality standards. • Manage translation memories and ensure their effective use in projects. • Provide desktop support and address basic IT needs as required.
• 1-3 years of experience in localization engineering with a strong knowledge of the translation workflow cycle. • Mastery skills in translation memory tools such as memoQ, Trados or other common CAT tools, is required • Advanced knowledge of XML, HTML and XLIFF formats • Previous eLearning experience • Experience with Plunet is ideal • Experience with coding language (such as Javascript and Node.JS) is a big plus • Ability to gain quick fluency on technologies used by clients in various industries • Ability to trouble shoot technical issues • Desire to drive process and efficiency improvements • Clear, concise communication skills. • Excellent listening skills.
