Description

• Work closely with the Indigenous Policy and Research Lead at the Future of Canada Centre • Support the coordination, research, and development of Indigenous thought leadership • Conduct quantitative and qualitative research on Indigenous topics • Support inclusive engagement with First Nations, Inuit, and Métis youth • Prepare thought leadership pieces to share with organizational leadership • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of researchers and policy professionals

Requirements

• Self-identifies as Indigenous in Canada (First Nations, Inuit, or Métis) • Working towards completion of an undergraduate or graduate degree, preferably in relevant fields • Demonstrated interest in public policy, advocacy, Indigenous relations and/or community-building • Intellectually curious about pressing issues in Canada • Organized and able to synthesize and communicate information clearly • Proficient in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
