Description

• CrossFit is seeking a Test Engineer for a one-year contract to enhance product quality and reliability. • Collaborate closely with product and development teams to comprehend their testing requirements. • Create test plans and test cases, balancing automated and manual testing approaches. • Assist in executing test plans, documenting bug reports, and ensuring code confidence. • Substantial hands-on contribution in designing, developing, and maintaining automation scripts and processes. • Define and implement test automation tools and strategies to enhance product quality. • Participate as an agile software development team member, promoting quality throughout the lifecycle. • Assist in defining and setting up testing environments with Infrastructure as Code and test data management. • Promote sound development practices, like design sessions, code reviews, and documentation. • Maintain standards for application testing, issue tracking, and reporting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in testing, including both manual and automated tests • Proficiency with open-source automation tools, such as Robot Framework, Playwright, Appium, Cypress, Selenium, or other appropriate test automation frameworks • Ability to efficiently read software design and code to develop comprehensive test cases and anticipate potential faults • Proficiency writing and maintaining automation code, libraries, and frameworks in Python and/or JavaScript • Capability to troubleshoot software issues in order to identify the source, whether it be in the test or application code, or a specific component • Detail-oriented with strong organization and structured thinking capabilities • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
