• Design and development of electronic circuits and systems, with a particular focus on PCB layout and maintaining libraries on Altium Designer. • Architect and design robust, scalable, and secure electronic systems. • Ensure that all designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations (in particular European and North American standards), including EMI and EMC compliance. • Oversee the manufacturing, installation, QA and testing of electrical equipment and sub-systems. • Create and maintain detailed documentation for designs, including schematics, PCB layouts, and test procedures. • Identify and resolve technical issues and provide support for manufacturing and field service teams. • Work closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products. • Reviewing the work of and providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior electrical, electronics and PCB design engineers. • Develop and test prototypes to validate design concepts and ensure functionality. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications. • Keep up with the latest trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve electronics architecture and deliver cutting-edge solutions.
• At least 7 years of proven experience in electronics design and development, with a strong portfolio of successful projects. • Proficiency in electronic design software (Altium Designer) and simulation tools. • Strong experience in analog and digital circuit design, including microcontrollers, power supplies, motors control, battery systems, communication interfaces and sensing systems. • Extensive expertise in PCB layout and design for manufacturability and reliability. • Mastery of maintaining robust libraries and design templates in Altium, ensuring consistency across the entire organization. • Experience with electronic testing and measurement equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, etc.). • Good knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-2221A, IPC/EIA-J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, IPC-A-600, IPC-WHMA-A-620) (desirable). • Trained, assessed and certified as Certified IPC Specialist (CIS), Certified IPC Trainer (CIT/MIT), Certified Standards Expert (CSE/SCSE) to IPC standards (IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, IPC-A-600, IPC-WHMA-A-620). • Experience working with a manufacturing company with ISO9001 Quality Management System. • Experience with and good understanding of defining and following ESD best practices. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. • Strong English written and verbal communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Experience working with international teams and in global markets. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements. • Demonstrated eagerness to learn new skills and take on diverse tasks, fostering both personal and company growth.
