📋 Description
• As a Technical Writing Intern, you’ll be immersed in product documentation at CrowdStrike • Play an integral role in transforming and structuring content for multi-channel publishing • Own a small technical writing project, optimize content for reuse, make improvements to generative AI prompts • Learn about CrowdStrike's mission to stop breaches • Gain experience with structured authoring through hands-on project work writing documentation • Help develop documentation that will grow your technical understanding and writing skills • Become familiar with industry-standard technical writing tools and processes • Help develop tools for automating the documentation process
🎯 Requirements
• Must have completed at least 2 years at a 4-year undergraduate university, with a projected graduation date between December 2025 and July 2027 • Programming experience, with the ability to understand complex systems and algorithms • Knowledge of Java, Scala, JavaScript, Perl, or Python will be advantageous • Understanding of database technologies and principles, particularly in large-scale and distributed environments; exposure to SQL or GraphQL will be helpful • Writing technology experience, including DocBook, DITA and XSLT • A passion for automation and simplifying the translation of information from engineering code into documentation • A portfolio of your work with at least two technical writing samples • An interest in learning about advanced concepts and tools relating to the field of technical writing • Basic knowledge of machine learning techniques involving large learning models • A strong attention to detail • Ability to work independently on assigned work • A willingness to learn and understand complex systems, ask questions, and accept feedback and implement it into your work
