Description

•We're Cruise, a self-driving service designed for the cities we love. •We’re building the world’s most advanced self-driving vehicles. •This team is responsible for the Autonomous Vehicle Systems Engineering. •Define requirements, metrics, and simulation testing to validate Autonomous Vehicle operations. •Lead and communicate data analyses, trade studies, and safety analysis.

Requirements

•BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, or another related field •7+ years of experience in systems engineering, robotics, systems analysis, data analysis, statistical analysis, or other related fields •Proficient with SQL, Python, and C++ or similar to analyze large data sets coming out of hardware systems •Excellent critical and analytical thinking skills: you can interpret what the data is telling us, and which analyses will reveal impactful conclusions •Fluent in data-based and analytical engineering problem solving practices, including using paretos, root cause analysis, and more •Proficient in statistics and probability •Ability to understand complex technical systems •Ability to adapt and operate under ambiguity •Prioritize while maintaining the tasks at hand •Strong technical and nontechnical communication skills
