• Design and iterate traversal paths that enhance gameplay by offering creative, engaging ways for players to move throughout the game. • Work independently on assigned traversal areas, ensuring the design aligns with the game’s mechanics and blocked-out environments. • Collaborate closely with art teams to ensure feasibility and logical consistency of traversal elements. • Participate in constructive discussions with other designers and stakeholders, ensuring levels meet the expected quality and align with the game's pacing and player experience goals. • Utilize your proficiency in level design tools and software to create and iterate on level layouts. • Maintain a balance between creative aspirations and the practical constraints of the project, such as timelines and technical limitations. • Produce detailed documentation for game levels, providing clear and comprehensive guidelines for the team.

Requirements

• Experience in a Level Designer role, with a focus on player traversal mechanics. • Proven experience in designing compelling traversal paths that challenge and engage players. • Portfolio demonstrating your skill and creativity in level design. • Understanding of game design tools, software, and real-time game engines. • Knowledge of game design principles and how they contribute to player engagement and enjoyment.
