• The Nonprofit Assistant Controller oversees all aspects of the finances for a portfolio of clients. • Act as a liaison between client and audit firm. • Report on the current financial status to client leadership. • Ensure deliverables are executed to the scope of work. • Manage multiple clients virtually and consult with client leadership on financial strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree required. • 8+ years of accounting, financial reporting, and financial management experience. • 3+ years prior experience managing and prioritizing the work of direct reports or project team members. • Prior experience working in a non-profit organization is required. • Prior experience working in a school or socially responsible organization is required. • Prior management of multiple projects and clients is preferred. • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
