Description

• Understand requirements to develop and maintain backend automated tests using existing framework • Create and execute manual tests, accurately document results, diagnose and create defects • Identify data needed for tests and create new data or obtain existing data • Perform functional, application, regression, integration, and performance testing • Work as part of a scrum team in an agile environment • Collaborate with developers, testers, product owners, and cross-functional teams • Assist in identifying root cause of issues, analyzing logs, and resolving defects • Champion best practices and identify ways to improve testing

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience • 2-4 years’ work experience in a testing role • Experience in creating manual and automated tests, especially for the backend • Experience testing web-based applications and API testing • Experience with Postman or SoapUI • Strong experience working with SQL databases • Working experience working with cloud providers • Ability and interest to learn new tools and technologies and apply them • Working knowledge of continuous integration, automated tools, industry standards, and best practices in test automation • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD processes • Proficiency in English in a business environment is a must
