• API Design & Development: Design RESTful APIs adhering to best practices and develop scalable backend services using languages like Python, Java, Go, or C. • Integration & Collaboration: Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate APIs with user interfaces and coordinate with DevOps teams for smooth CI/CD processes. • Performance Optimization & Scalability: Conduct performance tuning and load testing to ensure APIs handle high traffic efficiently and implement caching strategies. • Monitoring & Maintenance: Build telemetry features for monitoring API usage, identifying bottlenecks, and maintaining comprehensive logging & monitoring. • Security & Compliance: Ensure compliance with security standards and data privacy regulations, supporting regular code security reviews and vulnerability assessments. • Documentation & Support: Create and maintain detailed API documentation and provide Level 3 support for complex issue resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field—or equivalent professional experience. • +3 years of experience developing & maintaining robust, scalable APIs • Proficiency with programming languages such Python, C/C++, Java, or Go. • Strong understanding of RESTful design principles. • Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL. • Experience with non-relational databases such as NoSQL is a plus. • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure/AWS/GCP, especially serverless functions is a plus. • Proficiency in English in a business environment
