Description

•Understand the requirements to develop and maintain automated tests using an existing framework •Create and execute manual tests, accurately document test results, diagnose and create defects •Identify data needed for manual and automated tests and create or obtain it •Be involved with releasing software and collaborate with teams for smooth deployments •Assist in identifying root cause of issues, analyzing logs, and resolving defects •Perform functional, application, regression, integration, and performance testing •Develop a deep understanding of applications for complex feature requirements and identify gaps •Work as part of a scrum team in an agile environment with developers and testers •Work independently in a cross-cultural environment with 2-3 hours overlap with US stakeholders

Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience •4+ years’ work experience in a testing role with experience creating manual and automated tests •Working knowledge of continuous integration, automated tools, industry standards, and best practices in test automation •Experience testing web-based applications and API testing •Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD processes •Hands on experience with API testing tools – Postman •Programming/Scripting Language Knowledge - C#/C++/Java/JavaScript •Testing Framework Experience - XUnit /TestNg •Database Testing working Experience with - SQL Server/Oracle/MySQL •Technical experience in testing methodologies and procedures •Knowledge of OOP concepts •Ability to write SQL queries
