• Handle procurement process, sourcing suppliers and managing vendor relationships. • Develop and implement procurement strategies for cost optimization. • Identify, evaluate and select suppliers based on quality and cost-effectiveness. • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers for favorable agreements. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities. • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends. • Monitor inventory levels and implement management strategies. • Prepare and present reports on procurement activities and performance metrics. • Implement sustainable and ethical sourcing practices. • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations regarding sourcing.

Requirements

• MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK AND WRITE MANDARIN! • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration or a related field. • 1+ years of experience as a purchasing manager within the International market. • In-depth knowledge of procurement principles, strategies and best practices. • Experience in implementing sustainable and socially responsible procurement practices. • Strong skills in budgeting, cost optimisation and negotiation techniques. • Knowledge of vendor management and inventory management systems. • An analytical mind with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. • Proficiency in using procurement software and systems. • Knowledge of local and national laws and regulations related to procurement. • Willingness to work in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
