• Join Cummins Dordrecht as a Supplier Quality Engineer, where you'll collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, implement corrective actions, analyze performance data, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to uphold Cummins' commitment to excellence. • Collaborate with suppliers and customers to promptly identify and resolve quality issues, ensuring compliance with Cummins' standards. • Implement corrective and preventive actions to drive continuous improvement in supplier performance. • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to collectively address quality concerns. • Analyze supplier data on defect rates, delivery times, and quality adherence to optimize performance. • Develop and maintain transparent supplier scorecards to track and communicate performance metrics. • Meticulously document inspection results and corrective actions for accurate record-keeping and regulatory compliance. • Streamline manufacturing processes and improve product quality through collaborative problem-solving with suppliers. • Share best practices and provide hands-on guidance for continuous improvement in quality processes. • Foster a culture of quality and innovation among supplier staff, promoting proactive quality management. • Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks related to enclosure quality. • Conduct thorough root cause analysis for recurring quality issues to prevent reoccurrence.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field. • Strong understanding of quality management principles. • Proven experience in supplier quality management and root cause analysis, • Significant experience within Manufacturing or Engineering. • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. • Willingness to travel, up to 25%-40%.
