Description

• Design and maintain the data architecture • Analyze system integration challenges related to data • Create roadmaps for modernization of legacy data platforms • Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL • Collaborate with software developers, system administrators, and data analysts • Design and implement ETL processes • Administer and maintain Azure SQL databases • Manage and monitor database performance • Automate tasks related to database management using Azure DevOps • Work with Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse • Implement data security best practices in Azure • Build tools to assist data scientists and analysts • Develop and implement strategies for data acquisition and database implementation • Ensure data solutions align with regulatory requirements • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues • Stay updated on Azure platform and best practices

Requirements

• Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in data management and technology • Proficiency in Azure data services including Azure SQL, Data Factory, Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics • Proficiency in migration from on-prem legacy SQL to Azure PaaS SQL • Knowledge of migration technologies for SQL and workload migration • Strong experience with Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, and Azure DevOps • Hands-on experience with database performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing • Experience with cloud technologies and deploying databases in Microsoft Azure • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments in Azure environments • Knowledge of data security principles and practices, especially in cloud environments
