Unique in being able to fully assess data quality, our services are used by some of the world’s largest investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds and brokers, helping them to reduce costs, improve quality and increase confidence in their regulatory reporting. • Job summary • Working alongside the Finance Controller, you will be responsible for posting journal entries, updating financial statements, maintaining accounts receivable and accounts payable, reconciling accounts, preparing monthly payroll, and creating financial reports. This is an exciting role for an ambitious individual within a fast-paced Head Office, contributing to the overall efficient operation of the accounts department.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Great attention to detail • Exceptional organisational skills • Good interpersonal skills • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices • Outstanding mathematical skills • Critical thinking • Experience working in a finance environment. • Experience in preparing accurate financial statements • 2-4 years of experience working in a finance environment • Excellent UK accounting knowledge • Familiarity with UK Tax • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with Xero or other accounting software • Degree in accounting, business, economics, finance
