Description
• Responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging software programs for software enhancements and new products. • Generate detailed requirements for automation products using Rockwell Automation PlantPAx DCS platform. • Lead and perform the detailed design for the New Product Introduction. • Develop as well as lead activities of others in programming controllers, configuring SCADA/HMI applications, S-88 batch systems. • Establish process automation system test plans for compliance with functional and design requirements. • Design and author methods to deploy, install, and configure customer specific control and network strategies.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering) • Extensive technical experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical or equivalent automated process industries • Experience in the programming of Rockwell PlantPAx DCS tools and components including Logix controllers, FT-View SCADA/HMI, FT-Batch and OSI/PI continuous historian. • Comprehensive understanding and strong hands-on development experience of application development and system/hardware integration • Previous experience in PLC/DCS/SCADA with Rockwell PlantPAx is a plus • Experience working with DevOps is a plus • Agile is a plus
