📋 Description

• Responsible for providing commercial contract support to the Commercial Sales team at Cepheid. • Work with Sales and Business Operations Leadership in setting and executing the contracts strategy. • Lead the day-to-day activities of the Commercial Contracts team. • Own the contracts workflow including deal structuring, drafting, redlining, and negotiating commercial and government contracts. • Be accountable for contract KPIs and metric goals including On Time Delivery, Quality, and Productivity for your team. • Act as advisor for Sales, Finance, and internal departments regarding contractual requirements. • Prepare, manipulate, and analyze reports, dashboards, or complex spreadsheets. • Collaborate with departments on contractual issues and internal projects. • Ensure contracts meet Legal, Financial, Compliance & Regulatory requirements. • Coach, grow, and develop associates.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of experience or Master’s Degree with 7+ years of experience • Experience in pricing analysis and contract deal structuring • Strong knowledge in contract drafting, redlining, and negotiating within the medical device or healthcare industry. • Experience leading a team, preferably in contracts. • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Kaizen, Six Sigma, 5 Whys. • Previous experience in contracting with GPOs, IDNs, Health Systems, and Distributors in the US is a plus. • Knowledge of healthcare fraud and abuse laws, rules, regulations, regulatory guidance, and industry codes is a plus. • Familiarity with Salesforce.com, CLM and Price Quoting tools is a plus.
