Description
• Deliver first class technical applications support and training. • Perform demonstrations of Leica Biosystems instruments and reagents. • Promote and sell the entire Leica Biosystems product portfolio. • Support customers throughout the entire customer journey whilst growing core reagent and product sales. • Conduct customer acquisition and business development to generate sales. • Generate and develop sales and product awareness through customer visits, samples, and trials. • Coordinate demos of Leica Biosystems products at customer sites. • Supply market information on share development, competitor activities, trends, and developments to Sales Management and Marketing. • Perform customer training.
Requirements
• Highly experienced in the Histology Processing & Advanced Staining field in a clinical, research or industrial setting. • Experience in the optimization, operation, functionality, and support of both manual and automated lab processes is highly desired, but not a requirement. • Experienced in demonstrating and presenting solutions to a wide customer audience. • Language French and English fluent. Dutch would be a plus. • Bachelor’s degree in Life Science or equivalent field, or Medical Lab Technician with relevant lab experience. • Previous experience in a technical, sales-oriented environment is a plus. • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. • This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
