Description

• DAT is seeking an Analytics Consultant to join our Data and Analytics team. • The introductory position focuses on learning how DAT products service the industry through internal and external stakeholder interactions. • Responsibilities include working with Sales and DAT principal analysts to deliver industry insights, visualizations, and data. • Proactively explore data and identify opportunities to help accelerate product development or improve existing products.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in an analytical role • Excellent communication skills • Academic or professional experience in quantitative fields of study such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or data science • Ability to contextualize relatively sophisticated statistical and technical concepts with customers and colleagues at all levels of an organization • Ability to use large datasets for creative data visualization efforts • Understanding of relational databases and data structures • Fluency with SQL and a programming language (Python, R, JavaScript, etc.) • Fluency with a business intelligence platform (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.) • Bonus: Experience working in the freight logistics space
