📋 Description

• Datacor is the leading provider of software solutions to the process manufacturing space. • Seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Engineer to lead and grow consulting services. • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and challenges, translating them into well-defined project scopes and deliverables. • Develop detailed project proposals, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables. • Execute consulting projects, including technical analysis, system configuration, and customized deliverables. • Maintain clear, regular communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle. • Identify and pursue opportunities for follow-up projects or additional services. • Drive business development efforts to build a robust pipeline of consulting projects. • Provide insights and feedback to improve software and service offerings. • Mentor junior engineers.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering (chemical engineering preferred). • Proficiency in at least one of the AFT products (Fathom, Arrow, Impulse, or xStream), and experience solving industrial modeling challenges. • 5+ years as a project engineer, with a history of managing billable hours (1,700–1,800 annually). • Strong problem-solving abilities with a proven track record of resolving complex technical issues. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with customers and internal stakeholders at all levels. • Results-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed goals. • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure. • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. • Familiarity with customer support tools, CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), and project management software. • Passionate about providing outstanding service and building long-term customer relationships.
