Description
• The Analyst Team provides insights on various verticals including financial services, politics, automotive, and retail. • Compile reports based on quantitative and qualitative analysis of social media data. • Present report findings to clients and consult on business projects. • Analyse, segment, visualise and interpret social data into reports. • Create compelling data stories and partner with stakeholders.
Requirements
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, including Social Sciences, Economics, Marketing or Arts • A strategic thinker • At least 1-2 years’ experience working in a research-focused environment, preferably in understanding consumer or human behaviour • PowerPoint and Excel skills • Basic understanding of statistics • A passion for qualitative research and data story-telling and the ability to find the business-related so-what • A strong track record of working under pressure to meet deadlines • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Previous experience writing reports for corporates is an advantage • Good project management skills and proactively communicating updates to leadership on projects • Attention to detail and the ability to identify and communicate trends is a key competency for this role • Comfortable presenting key findings from data to clients and/or large audiences • An understanding and interest in data visualisation and storytelling from big data • Curiosity and drive to understand and explain real-world phenomena and trends • Experience in working with, or knowledge of SQL, Python and/or R is advantageous, but not required
