📋 Description
• Manage and maintain the Power BI environment of one of our customers. • Ensure optimal performance, stability, security, and scalability of the Power BI platform. • Installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and user support. • Ensure compliance with industry’s best practices. • Administer and maintain Power BI Service, Power BI Report Server, and related environments. • Perform installation, configuration, and upgrades of Power BI components. • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize dashboards and reports for efficiency. • Manage Power BI workspaces, user roles, permissions, and authentication settings. • Implement and enforce best practices for report development, scheduling, and execution. • Provide technical support to end users, ensuring seamless report execution. • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Power BI with enterprise systems. • Perform regular system health checks, backups, and disaster recovery planning. • Maintain and enhance security policies, ensuring compliance with organizational standards. • Document configurations, processes, troubleshooting procedures, and best practices. • Attend to customer requests and provide timely responses and solutions within the defined SLAs. • Be available after hours and on weekends for maintenance tasks.
🎯 Requirements
• Advanced English skills • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Power BI Administrator or a similar role. • Strong expertise in Power BI Service administration, including installation, upgrades, and maintenance. • Experience with Power BI Desktop and report optimization. • Proficiency in managing Power BI workspaces, scheduling, and user access control. • Solid understanding of database systems (SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, etc.) and data integration. • Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or SQL for automation and optimization. • Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and integrating Power BI with cloud-based data sources. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues. • Excellent English and Spanish communication and collaboration skills to support end-users and work with cross-functional teams.
