Description

• As Google Cloud's premier partner in AI, we provide world-class businesses with cutting-edge data solutions in the cloud. • We help clients take leading technology to the limits by combining our expertise in machine learning, data engineering, and analytics. • Our team consists of experts in machine learning, data science, software engineering, mathematics, and design. • We are currently expanding our team in the Americas and are looking to hire a Pod Lead to oversee a growing team of Engineers covering ML Engineering and Data Science. • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the ML team, ensuring best practices and adherence to industry standards. • Recruit, hire, and onboard talented data scientists and machine learning engineers. • Build strong relationships with clients and understand their business needs and challenges. • Participate in the sales process as the sales engineer by designing robust and scalable ML solutions.

Requirements

• Demonstrated leadership and management experience of technical employees. • 5+ years of experience in machine learning and data science, with a strong track record of delivering successful projects. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Proven experience leading and mentoring teams of data scientists and machine learning engineers. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. • Strong software engineering skills with a focus on machine learning frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn), and cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • Passion for data and a desire to solve real-world problems using machine learning.
