Description
• Lead the development of the interface used by all dbt adapters within the data warehouse adapters codebase and own platform specific changes for a number of individual adapter repositories. • Design, develop, test, deploy, and monitor both open-source and proprietary software, ensuring it is reliable, well-tested, and adheres to best coding practices. • Create extension and integration points to facilitate custom adapter creation. • Develop a robust software framework for seamlessly integrating adapters into dbt Cloud. • Collaborate closely with the OSS community, product teams, and other adapter stakeholders. • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
Requirements
• Have 5-8 years experience as a software engineer • Minimum requirement of Bachelors degree in related field (computer science, computer engineering, etc.) OR • Completed enrollment in engineering related bootcamp
