📋 Description

• Since 2016, dbt Labs has been on a mission to help analysts create and disseminate organizational knowledge. • We’ve pioneered the practice of analytics engineering. • Today, there are 50,000 teams using dbt every week, 100,000 dbt Community members, and over 5,100 dbt Cloud customers. • As of February 2025, we surpassed $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR). • We’re looking to hire a Solutions Architect, Enterprise to join the Field Engineering team. • In this role, you will lead the evaluation, implementation, and adoption of dbt for our largest enterprise and commercial customers. • Candidates must be based in Denver, Colorado or Austin, Texas. Spanish-English bilingual candidates are preferred.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of sales engineering, solutions architecture, or consulting in data operations, analytics, or BI • A solid technical background, with experience in SQL, ETL, and data modeling • A firm understanding of and ability to discuss modern data warehousing architectures • Ability to gather and translate technical and business requirements into concrete solutions • Excellent verbal, written, and in-person communication skills to discuss complex topics with both technical and non-technical audiences • Ability to operate in an ambiguous and fast-paced work environment • A passion for being an inclusive teammate and involved member of the community • Knowledge of or prior experience with dbt • Experience with Data Modeling methods such as dimensional, data vault, Kimball, 3NF • Experience with traditional Enterprise ETL tooling (Informatica, Boomi, Talend)
