Description
• The IT Support Technician is responsible for ensuring that Diagnexia’s IT infrastructure works seamlessly. • Provide System Maintenance for hardware, software, networks, and servers. • Deliver Support Services to end-users including pathologists and laboratory technicians. • Manage Data/Data sources including storage, backup, and retrieval. • Engage in Cybersecurity Efforts to safeguard sensitive patient data. • Maintain Software and Hardware with regular updates. • Liaise with Customers for system set-up and user accounts. • Ensure Compliance with relevant regulations. • Coordinate Data Impact Assessments for patient privacy.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is usually expected. • Certifications relevant to IT support, cybersecurity, or data management could be beneficial. • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an IT support role, ideally within a healthcare or scientific research setting. • Technical Expertise with strong understanding of IT systems. • Cybersecurity Awareness of potential threats and best practices. • Familiarity with Digital Pathology Systems. • Vendor Management Skills with experience liaising with vendors/customers. • Compliance Awareness and experience with healthcare regulations related to data privacy. • Experience with Data Impact Assessments in a healthcare context. • Strong Communication Skills to interact effectively with stakeholders.
