Description
• Develop, test, and maintain backend systems using Java (minimum version 8) and Spring Boot (versions 2.5 - 3). • Design and implement RESTful APIs that connect with various services. • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. • Work with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) to deploy, manage, and monitor applications. • Manage and optimize relational databases, including SQL Server or MySQL. • Utilize version control systems like GitHub for source code management. • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices and development standards. • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to maintain and improve performance. • Optionally, manage deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in roles as a Backend Developer. • Java expertise (minimum version 8). • Strong experience with Spring Boot (versions 2.5 - 3). • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles. • Experience in building and consuming REST APIs. • Knowledge of cloud services, particularly Azure (App Services, API Management, VMs), or other providers like AWS or Google Cloud. • Proficiency with relational databases, specifically SQL Server or MySQL. • Experience with GitHub for version control. • English proficiency at a conversational level. • Desirable experience with Snowflake. • Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
