Description

• The Home-Based Project Designer is responsible for creating preliminary documents and updating older documents for use in the field. • Requires close coordination with Operations leadership to update and align documentation. • Utilizes Visio and/or other electronic design software to develop cleaning plan overviews. • Annotates P&IDs to indicate injection, vent, and drain points. • Converts and manages project documents for planning and execution. • Maintains an electronic file for all project records. • Coordinates document updates as directed by management. • Translates refinery piping circuits and PFD drawings into plans. • Requires strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working independently.

Requirements

• A degree in process engineering or mechanical engineering is preferred but not required. • Experience reading and comprehending P&IDs and PFDs. • Experience with refining or chemical processes. • Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills. • Possess strong software skills, including MS Visio, Excel, Word, MS Projects, Outlook, and Visio. • Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel to develop instructions and logistical plans. • Preferably experienced in the offshore, remote set-up, and/or BPO industry.
