📋 Description
• Join us in reshaping manufacturing with advanced tech like computer vision and AI! • You’ll focus on backend strategy and design, driving near real-time processing • Your work will be 70% backend—developing features, APIs, and optimizing databases—and 30% frontend • Tackle infrastructure challenges, working across cloud and edge environments to enhance performance • Lead the development of new features, ensuring smooth integration with customer applications and services • Oversee the deployment of solutions in both cloud and edge environments • Ensure data quality and maintain operational pipelines, responding to issues related to data consistency • Draft and implement the backend strategy, optimizing the architectural design, databases, and interfaces • Take ownership of database consistency and quality, perform first-step analysis on customer data issues
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years experience as a full-stack engineer building web applications from scratch • Experience developing Python-based back-end applications (we work with Django) • Experience with Frontend Frameworks (we use React) • Experience with orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible) • Experience designing, implementing, and interacting with REST APIs • Experience with SQL databases (such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite) • Experience with relational and analytical databases (Postgres, AWS Redshift) • Experience with a Cloud-based application environment (AWS preferred) • Fluency in English (German not required) • Nice to have Linux management/debugging experience • Data processing concepts (ETL, ELT) • Industry/freelance experience developing web applications for data processing and visualization • Understand and advocate for sound engineering practices • Entrepreneurial mindset, hands-on mentality, resilience, and a passion for solving significant challenges using elegant solutions • An interest in AI, computer vision, and deep learning
