• Product blogging, community event amplification • Write articles, newsletters, communication materials, and other materials for social media channels • Develop community-specific communications including posts, blogs, carousel, and other program materials • Post/launch content to various engines • Manage communications across the span of topics related to the community including launches, new programs, and super user • Support the development and management of editorial calendars for community content • Manage monthly newsletter for Microsoft Global Community Initiative
• Write copy quickly - short form and long form copy • 2+ years of experience in social media; familiarity with social media platforms • Excellent verbal & written communication • Knowledge of/familiarity with AKA.ms links • Adobe Photoshop experience preferred • Solid organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and able to work under pressure to meet very tight deadlines • Can demonstrate understanding of brands and branding, brand strategy and target audience knowledge/insights. Uses this understanding to inform daily work • Confidence to take a risk; bias for action; Shared ownership mindset • Proven experience establishing strong collaborative relationships across a varied set of stakeholders and partners across various internal teams and external communities • Analytics and reporting: Prepare regular reports providing insights and recommendations for optimization
