Join Dev.Pro - a US-based outsourcing software development company that has been delivering exceptional software experience to clients since 2011. We invite a Senior Software Engineer with strong Node.js expertise to join our team and collaborate with a trusted leader in the Point-of-Sale industry, whose flagship product has over 100,000 global installations. In this role, you’ll contribute to our client’s new initiative focused on creating data mapping between diverse menu order systems and integrating two distinct APIs to ensure seamless and accurate data transfer. Integrate key systems for a global tech platform offering robust solutions for the restaurant and food service industry Boost your critical thinking and problem-solving skills while tackling complex challenges in a high-dependency environment Grow your expertise in API integration, data mapping, and data transformation In this role, you'll leverage your backend development expertise to build and enhance innovative software solutions for our client. You'll focus on integrating key systems and collaborate closely with teams to ensure high quality and smooth delivery. Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript Design and integrate APIs to ensure seamless data flow between systems Collaborate with teams to define project requirements and deliver scalable, efficient solutions Work with CI/CD pipelines for smooth integration and deployment Deploy and manage services using cloud infrastructure (AWS) Contribute to the team’s testing, troubleshooting, and review efforts to ensure high-quality code Create and maintain clear, organized documentation for the development process Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices in development

🎯 Requirements

3+ years of hands-on commercial experience in backend software development Strong expertise with Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, Kinesis, SNS, SQS, Autoscaling, CloudWatch) Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs Experience in writing and executing test cases, ensuring code quality through best practices. Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes. Ability to work independently, resolve complex issues, and deliver solutions Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams Upper-Intermediate English level Familiarity with MongoDB Experience with Angular or React Native
