📋 Description
• Build applications and infrastructure to support product features • Interview and hire for new engineering team members • Ensure our infrastructure can and will scale as we grow, and work with other technical leaders to make sure our based are covered • Maintain a high degree of autonomy, accountability, and responsibility in our engineering organization • Define the engineering team’s roadmap in concert with product and design
🎯 Requirements
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field • 5+ years of experience in software engineering • 2+ years of experience leading and managing engineering teams, either as a tech lead or people lead • Strong facilitation, communication, and organizational skills • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels and personality types • Detail oriented and able to hold colleagues accountable for their work • Extensive experience working on software engineering for large scale applications • Strong computer science fundamentals and first principles thinking
