Description

• Lead and mentor a small team of developers, providing guidance, support, and code reviews. • Ensure the team delivers high-quality, well-documented code that meets established standards. • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software applications using either Python or JavaScript. • Collaborate with the team to define and implement coding standards, process efficiencies, and deployment processes. • Design, implement, and maintain our CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable software releases. • Experience working with either Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS) is required. • Work closely with Marketing and other non-IT business partners to understand their needs. • Work with our vendors to optimize the utilization of their platforms and negotiate for better services. • Participate in project planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. • Anticipate potential problems and proactively implement solutions to prevent issues before they arise.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in either Python or JavaScript. • Experience with both is highly desirable. • Experience with event-driven architectures. • Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (GCP or AWS). • Experience working with and managing overseas teams. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. • Experience working with Marketing and other non-IT business partners. • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Experience with JIRA or similar project management tools. • Experience with specific cloud technologies within GCP or AWS (e.g., specific services, serverless functions) is a plus • Experience with specific frameworks/libraries relevant to your chosen language (e.g., React, Node.js, Django, Flask) is a plus • Experience with security standard processes and tools.
