• Dexerto is looking for freelance Magic the Gathering writers who are able to pitch articles and accept commissions for Wizard of the Coast's trading card game • You should know everything there is to understand about Magic the Gathering and will be able to recognise what makes a compelling story that fans would want to read • Ideally you will have experience of writing for a publication but if you can demonstrate your passion for Magic the Gathering and your writing skills, we want to hear from you
Requirements
• Understanding and knowledge of Magic the Gathering • A snappy and compelling writing style • On the ball with the latest news • Able to write to short deadlines under pressure • Have a keen attention to detail – can spot grammatical errors and fact check • Creative ability – able think of feature ideas and suggest news stories that will resonate with our audience • SEO knowledge desirable but not essential • Own computing equipment that can run Photoshop and be able to use it competently • Experience with content management systems is desirable
