• Dexerto is looking for a weekend games writer to work from home in the UK. • This is a part-time, entry level position that will require you to work on a Saturday and Sunday. • The role would suit a talented and passionate student or graduate who is looking to get some experience of writing. • Just send us your CV, any examples of your written work and tell us what games you are into. • You should be a versatile writer who is able to source and write compelling stories about big gaming franchises and trending titles, including the likes of Call of Duty, Overwatch, Fortnite, Pokemon and more. • Knowledge of gaming streamers would be desirable.
Requirements
• Understanding and knowledge of gaming • A snappy and compelling writing style • Have a keen attention to detail – can spot grammatical errors and fact check • Able to act independently on writing tasks • SEO knowledge • Own computing equipment that can run Photoshop and be able to use it competently • Experience with content management systems is desirable • Able to work eight hours a day
