β’ Maintain accurate communication and knowledge of all project activities with Landlords and Contractors. β’ Communicate pending and current change plans to the field. β’ Review project schedule and ensure updated schedules reflect required delivery completion date. β’ Review weekly progress photos and validate work in progress. β’ Maintain contractor/developer construction progress reports to ensure compliance. β’ Make regular job site visits for quality assurance, design compliance and schedule compliance confirmation. β’ Review proposed costs related to changes and validate accuracy against the budget. β’ Conduct regular project issue reviews and maintain project schedule. β’ Develop strong relationships with project teams to achieve requirements. β’ Provide weekly status reports and progress data to SCPM. β’ Know project critical elements/milestones and identify problems. β’ Conduct meetings to reach resolution with internal and external teams. β’ Strive to maintain project delivery date and budget compliance. β’ Conduct walk-throughs for punch list creation and ensure completion before soft open. β’ Complete project close out and transition responsibilities accurately.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Construction Management - Business β’ 3-5 years experience β’ Five (5) years or more experience working within a construction department / organization as a Project Manager managing multiple commercial grade construction projects β’ Secondary experience working with a development company and / or construction company β’ Previous Construction Management experience with a retail chain or multi-unit operator
