Description

• Diligent is a global leader in governance SaaS solutions. • As a Staff Software Engineer, create robust, scalable, secure microservices for our SaaS platform. • Utilize AWS for serverless solutions in TypeScript. • Participate in architecture discussions and demos.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, with 8-12 years of experience in IT field. • At least 6 years of relevant experience as a Ruby on Rails developer with a strong portfolio of leading projects. • In-depth knowledge of Ruby language and the Rails framework, including best practices and conventions. • Experience in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and their integration with Rails applications. • Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar. • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services. • Knowledge of programming languages like Scala, Python, Java, or Node.js. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues. • Familiarity with testing frameworks for writing unit tests and integration tests. • Knowledge of Agile/Kanban methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team. • Experience with frontend frameworks/libraries like React, Vue.js, or Angular. • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
