📋 Description

• Discord is used by over 200 million people every month. • Play video games, spending a combined 1.5 billion hours on Discord each month. • Help scale technology and revenue driving products. • Oversee the technical roadmap across Consumer Revenue org. • Collaborate with teams such as Engineering, Product, Data Science, Design, and Marketing. • Focus on accelerating growth of existing revenue streams and develop new revenue streams and monetization opportunities. • Advise leadership team on technical considerations for engineering excellence and initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of industry experience as a software engineer. • Solid understanding of development frameworks and fundamentals of one or more platforms: web (React, TypeScript), Android (React Native, Kotlin), iOS (React Native, Objective-C, Swift), and backend (Python and some Elixir). • Experience leading large initiatives from inception to launch. • Experience building and shipping product features, especially features for products at large scale or in real-time applications. • Sense for product and design; collaboration with cross-functional peers is important. • Holistic approach to problem solving; learn from mistakes and work through obstacles with the team.
