📋 Description

• The Pricing Analyst at DWC reports to the Director of Pricing and is responsible for administering a comprehensive ongoing pricing strategy. • This position must research, analyze, and develop a clear understanding of our industry and competitive landscape, products, and customers. • Their position as an independent strategist within the department will allow them to utilize their background in different pricing approaches to effectively support the sales, procurement, and finance departments. • Serve as a liaison and coordinator between sales, procurement and finance departments to determine and keep current collective pricing goals. • Develop and implement a data-driven comprehensive pricing strategy that aligns with company wide goals and initiatives and drive alignment across business stakeholders. • Monitor, track and evaluate the daily performance of pricing on individual part numbers as well as entire product groups and share relevant data and trends with key stakeholders. • Ability to develop a data-driven comprehensive strategy and drive alignment across business stakeholders. • Utilize data analytical tools to create and present interactive dashboards and reports for stakeholders. • Conduct competitor analysis to identify pricing opportunities and threats. • Monitor and evaluate pricing performance metrics to recommend adjustments as necessary. • Assist in the development of pricing policies and strategies based on comprehensive analysis. • Perform other duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, preferred • 2+ years of experience as a pricing consultant or in-house pricing strategy owner • Successful track record of driving pricing transformation and execution • Proven experience as a Pricing Analyst or similar role. • Ability to look at strategic and long-term consequences of pricing actions • Strong project management skills and experience driving cross-functional pricing initiatives • SQL server and database structure experience is a plus. • Familiarity with Acumatica, Looker or similar BI tools is a plus. • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Physical Requirements Must we be willing to travel up to 5% annually. • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer • Must be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 pounds, occasional bending and reaching • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
