• This is a remote position. • Ready to build business-critical tools using Microsoft’s full tech stack? • As a Software Engineer Specialist, you’ll design modern applications and maintain legacy systems that directly support both internal teams and external clients—all while working with technologies like ASP.NET Blazor, Azure DevOps, SQL Server, and more. • If you're passionate about developing scalable, user-friendly solutions and collaborating across departments to drive innovation, we want to hear from you. • The Software Engineer Specialist will leverage extensive experience in Microsoft platforms and technologies to develop software that meets internal and external client requirements. • A strong background in relational databases, web development principles, and proficiency in Azure DevOps is also essential for success in this role. • This individual will work collaboratively with software engineers, BI developers, IT, and other team members to design, develop, and optimize applications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values. • The role involves working on a diverse range of projects, including new applications for future service offerings and maintaining legacy desktop & web applications. • The Software Engineer Specialist will receive limited direction on day-to-day work and general instruction on new projects, tasks or assignments. • Will execute and assist team leadership on projects, tasks or assignments of complex scope. • May coordinate activities of other personnel. • This person will communicate and operate in line with organizational goals and values, as well as departmental objectives.
• Proficient in Microsoft platforms & technologies such as ASP.NET, Windows Forms, Entity Framework, Web API. • Experience with Azure portal and Azure DevOps for managing application configurations, source code, task assignments, pipelines, and other development lifecycle processes. • Proficient in relational database management, particularly Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL. • Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST, HTTP, JSON • Skilled in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail. • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form (technical and non-technical information) • Ability to communicate effectively directly with clients and at times serve as primary point of client contact • Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently with minimal supervision • Ability to work under pressure and meet close deadlines • Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technology • Organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
