Description

• Oversight of the development of cloud platform capabilities. • Deliver high-quality software solutions iteratively and incrementally. • Work closely with product managers and other stakeholders. • Build a secure and resilient platform. • Enable product teams to quickly operationalise workloads with compliance and security. • Track, understand, and optimise cloud spend. • Build processes, tooling, and culture around resilient systems.

Requirements

• Genuinely cares and enjoy helping your users, whilst balancing their needs with the business needs. • Has proven expert in technical delivery, architecting, developing, and maintaining of cloud infrastructure. • Has experience with AWS or GCP and automating infrastructure provisioning and continuous integration/delivery using Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform or similar. • Experience with Modern CI/CD pipelines and gitops workflows. • Experience in Development and scripting. • Familiarity with alerting and monitoring tooling, and building a sustainable on-call process. • Understanding of disaster response, resilient systems engineering, and security automation. • Knowledge of cloud security and systems hardening. • Broad understanding of effective cost management as a key component of cloud platform administration. • A bias towards action and a desire for mission-driven work. • Excellent communication skills, including communication with less-technical staff. • Experience working in a diverse team and mentoring junior teammates. • Comfortable with both pair working and independent work managing their own projects.
