• Responsible for multiple projects, other managers, staffing, quality control, and budgets • Provide technical oversight for EI’s projects located in multiple counties • Proposal preparation, team building, subcontracting, budget control, and scheduling • Overseeing project compliance with environmental policies and maintaining client interactions • Field team management and providing specialized site assessments

Requirements

• BS, BA and/or advanced degree in environmental science, environmental studies, or similar field • 7 years of professional experience as an environmental professional with increasing responsibilities; 5 years management experience • Proven experience working on all aspects of the project including proposal preparation, technical writing, client interactions, and field work • Ability to work on business development and marketing tasks to support EI’s growth • Experience and training in a specialized field is preferred • Demonstrated leadership role managing proposal efforts, contracts, and multiple project efforts simultaneously • Project management experience in the environmental field • Ability to create and manage project/program tracking tools • Knowledge of current environmental regulations including CEQA and NEPA • Experience and training with ArcGIS and GPS technologies is a plus
