Description
• Analyze threat types to determine the appropriate handling technique as well as the prevention of false positives • Aid in workflows as required including detecting, mitigating, and monitoring threats across a range of threat types • Collaborate with team members throughout the department to aid in providing exceptional customer service • Proactively identify potential issues and suggest solutions to improve the efficiency of the team • Identify trends, insights, and relationships between internal and external data and intelligence sources to provide recommended risk mitigation
Requirements
• Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity concepts & principles (eg., threat detection, risk mitigation) • Willingness to learn in a fast paced environment • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities • Excellent writing and verbal skills • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Ability to work any shift including nights, weekends, and holidays as required for business needs • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a cybersecurity or related field • Preferred: Previous experience in a cybersecurity or related field
